ULTON Hellfire Cobra Style Squonk Mod from 2Fdeal (https://www.2fdeal.com/search/…).
It does feature a Mosfet like the authentic one that is equipped with a Bomber Pro. I disassembled the mod and checked it in detail. I own several mods that uses the Bomber Pro, so it was easy for me to compare the functionality. The mod could be used with atomizers of up to 24mm in diameter (sits flush then). I equipped the mod with the new ULTON Citadel Style RDA that came with the same parcel. Machining on the RDA is superb.



Machining of the mod:
very well machined, made of SS and POM. No sharp edges, absolutely flawless. The threads are very smooth. The 510 is adjustable by a 2.5mm hex key. The mod itself could be opened by the same key but it looks like everything is sealed well against liquid.
Electronic: Both soldering and cables look very good.
Mosfet: It seems like it’s really a 1:1 clone of the Bomber Pro. You could turn the mod on and off by 3 clicks. The LED lights in blue and red react identical. It fires instantly and I couldn’t recognize a loss in power. There are further functions that I didn’t check in detail: 5 click: stealth mode (with fire active, led off), Short protection, low battery warning, cut-off protection, puff time protection, reverse battery protection. The minimum required resistance for operation should be 0.2 Ohms.

Bottle system: A quite clever solution. A lot of people are filling their bottles over the 510 to prevent leaking by an accidently squeezed bottle. The Cobra mod features a bottle carrier that could be removed and inserted easily without any leakage. Additionally it could be locked when it is inserted into the mod, to prevent squeezing when carrying the mod in your pocket or something like that. To remove the bottle carrier simply lock it and push it out. My mod was missing a silicon tube in the bottle unfortunately. I just took the tube from a YFTK bottle I had lying around which fits perfectly. I asked ULTON and they promised to add the tube to newer shipments. A hint for all who will receive the mod these days without a tube and don’t want to wait long for a replacement part: you have to get a silicon tube with an outer diameter of 4.5mm. I cut the tube to a length of 40mm. My tube has got an inner diameter of 2mm. You could buy these cheap at eBay. The bottle itself smelled a little bit upon arrival. I put the bottle for about 3 hours into warm water and let it ventilate for about 4 hours. After this the smell has gone. I’m doing this process on all new bottles as most new ones have a smell on it.
Overall impression: In my opinion a perfect squonk mod. Good looking, very good machining, lightweight (~94g without battery), small and lockable. The price is absolutely ok having in mind that the authentic is almost 10x of the ULTON Cobra Style Mod. I’m happy to pay a few dollars more to get a product that I could use for a longer period of time. Keep up the good work ULTON, I hope we see more mods with this chip!

Gestern kam der ULTON Hellfire Cobra Style Squonk Mod von 2FDeal an (https://www.2fdeal.com/search/…). Er kommt mit einem Mosfet wie beim Original daher, der einen Bomber Pro verbaut hat. Ich habe den Mod einmal genau unter die Lupe genommen und ihn auch zerlegt. Da ich mehrere Mods mit Bomber Pro Mosfet habe, konnte ich die Funktion gut vergleichen. Der Mod kann Verdampfer bis 24mm Durchmesser ohne Überstand aufnehmen. Habe mal den neuen ULTON Citadel Style RDA verbaut, der kam mit der gleichen Lieferung und ist wirklich top verarbeitet. 
Verarbeitung des Mods: sehr sauber verarbeitet aus SS und POM. Keine scharfen Kanten, keine Grate oder ähnliches. Die Gewinde sind alle butterweich, nicht hakt oder kratzt. Der 510er kann über einen 2,5mm Innensechskantschlüssel in der Höhe verstellt werden (Rechtsgewinde). Ebenso kann damit das Gehäuse geöffnet werden, wobei das aber gut abgedichtet zu sein scheint. 
Elektronik: Die Kabel sind ordentlich verlegt und die Lötstellen sehen auch gut aus.
Mosfet: Die Funktion ist offenbar wirklich 1:1 wie beim Bomber Pro. Man kann den Mod über 3-Klick ein- und ausschalten. Die LEDs in blau und rot verhalten sich auch identisch. Der Mod spricht super an und haut gut raus, einen Leistungsverlust konnte ich nicht feststellen. Daneben gibt es noch Funktionen die ich nicht im Detail getestet habe wie Stealth Mode (LED aus), Kurzschlussabsicherung, Warnung bei niedrigem Ladestand des Akkus, Zugzeitbegrenzer und einen Schutz bei falsch herum eingelegtem Akku. Der minimale Widerstand muss wohl mindestens 0,2 Ohm betragen, damit der Chip arbeitet.
Flaschensystem: Sehr clever gelöst. Viele füllen Ihre Flaschen nur über den 510er, weil ansonsten bei Silikonflaschen ein Großteil des Inhalts zum 510er herausläuft, wenn man sie nur schief ansieht. Der Cobra Mod hat einen Flaschenträger aus Kunststoff, der sich einfach einsetzen und auch wieder herausnehmen lässt, ohne dass etwas kleckert. Zusätzlich kann er eingebaut auch noch verriegelt werden, so dass man die Flasche beim Transport nicht aus Versehen drücken kann. Zur Entnahme der Flasche am besten ebenfalls verriegeln, dann kann der Flaschenträger gefahrlos rausgeschoben werden. Bei meinem Mod fehlte leider der Silikonschlauch. Ich habe dann einen Schlauch von einer YFTK-Flasche genommen, der passte perfekt. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass zukünftige Auslieferungen den Schlauch enthalten sollen. Für alle, die jetzt schon einen Mod ohne Schlauch erhalten haben und nicht lange auf ein Ersatzteil warten wollen: er muss 4,5mm im Durchmesser haben, die Länge habe ich auf 40mm geschnitten. Der Innendurchmesser bei meinem Schlauch beträgt 2mm. Man kann die Schläuche günstig z.B. bei eBay kaufen. Die Flasche selbst roch anfangs etwas streng, aber das kennt man von Silikonflaschen. Ich habe die Flasche ca. 3 Stunden in warmem Wasser eingelegt und danach 4 Stunden lang lüften lassen, danach war der Geruch verflogen. Das mache ich mit anderen Flaschen übrigens auch.
Gesamteindruck: Meiner Meinung nach ein perfekter Squonk Mod. Tolles Aussehen, sehr gute Verarbeitung, leicht (~94g ohne Batterie), klein und vor allem verriegelbar. Den Preis finde ich absolut gerechtfertigt, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass das Original gut das 10-fache kostet. Ich zahle lieber ein paar Dollar mehr und bekomme dann etwas, dass man auf längere Sicht wirklich nutzt. Weiter so ULTON, ich hoffe wir sehen noch weitere Mods mit diesem Chip!
